Alankarams in Durga Devi Temple 2019: Dasara is the most prominent festival, in my view. Today is Goddess Sri Durga Devi is Decorated as “Sri Swarna Kavachalakrita Durga Devi” Alankaram is worshiped as the goddess at atop of the Indrakeeladri of 29th September during “Ashwayuja Shuddha Padyami” tidhi. On this alankaram, the goddess is decorated with gold ornaments (like Haaram, an impressive necklace) & holds a Trishula in her right hand and blessing the visiting devotees.
